Things That Could Have Been

This short film is based off of "Things that Could Have Been" (2017) which is a Prismacolor illustration depicting 2 outcomes of an egg; a chick and a cracked egg. This film follows 3 separate timelines of different outcomes for a chicken egg while putting emphasis on the complexity and development process of a simple egg becoming a chicken.

​Many of us don't realize just how closely related humans are to all of they "animals". But why are we, especially white people, not considered animals. We are more similar than is perceived by the general public.

Eggs hold a sense of mystery because they can either develop into a chick or end up cracked. These two outcomes are drastically different and emphasize the innocence of an un cracked  and undeveloped egg.
